Introduction:
Who Is the Sick One is a CGI short film exploring oppression, sensory deprivation, and the loss of individual expression under systems of power and control. Through symbolic headgear, including VR headsets, noise-cancelling headphones, and blindfolds, the work visualises the suppression of human perception and freedom. It questions who is truly “sick”: those who are silenced or those who possess the power to silence others.
